| Schizophrenia:
|
| A psychotic disorder marked by some or all of these symptoms: delusions, hallucinations, incoherent word associations, inappropriate emotions, or lack of emotions. It is characterized by serious disturbances of thought and perception which cannot be attributed to brain damage. A separation or loosening of associations, as between feelings and thoughts, is believed to underlie the unusual behavior that is exhibited.

| The quality or state of being sober. |
| Special Education:
|
| Instructional and resource programs and related services, unique materials, physical plant adjustments, and other special education facilities, such as instruction in other settings, which modify, supplement, support, or are in the place of the standard educational program of the public schools. The term includes speech pathology and vocational education.
